BY REGISTERING, ACCESSING, OR USING THE COMMUNITY, YOU AGREE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND ACCEPTED THESE TERMS, INCLUDING OUR PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, YOU MUST NOT USE THE COMMUNITY.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to register for the Community.
By using this site, you represent that you are a licensed educator, education stakeholder, or professional with a legitimate interest in educational technology and professional learning networks.
GSET reserves the right to approve or revoke membership at its discretion.

2. Accounts and Registration

To access certain features of the Community, you must register for an account using accurate and current information.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activities under your account.

Notify us immediately at support@gset.education if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

3. Use of the Platform

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, GSET grants you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to access and use the Community for professional development and collaboration.
You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the Community content without prior written consent. Any of such consent requests should be directed to support@gset.education.

4. Content and Contributions

You retain ownership of the content you post (discussion threads, comments, uploads), but grant GSET a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such content for educational and promotional purposes.

You agree that your contributions will not:

– Violate any laws or regulations.
– Infringe on any third-party rights.
– Contain offensive, harmful, or abusive language or media.

GSET reserves the right to moderate, remove, or restrict access to content that violates these terms or our community guidelines.

5. Community Conduct

You agree not to:

– Post false, misleading, or unlawful information.
– Use the platform for personal commercial gain, spam, or solicitation.
– Harass, threaten, or harm other members.
– Upload malicious software or attempt to breach security features.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the Community is subject to our Privacy Policy (GSET_Associates_Community_Privacy_Policy/ GSET Privacy Policy), which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information.

7. Intellectual Property

All content provided by GSET, including training materials, logos, text, and graphics, is the intellectual property of GSET or its partners.
You may not reuse, republish, or redistribute GSET-owned content without written permission.

8. Third-Party Tools and Services

The platform may link to third-party tools or websites. GSET does not control these and is not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms and policies.

9. Fees and Payments

Some services may require a subscription or a one-time payment.
All payments are non-refundable, unless otherwise specified. GSET reserves the right to modify membership fees with prior notice, and to adjust the cost of courses or webinars without prior notice.

10. Termination of Use

You may delete your account at any time.
GSET may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms or community policies without prior notice.
Upon termination, your access to community resources and content may be revoked.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Community and all related content are provided “as is”. GSET makes no warranties regarding availability, security, or reliability of the platform.

12. Limitation of Liability

GSET shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Community, including but not limited to data loss, account issues, or service interruptions.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold harmless GSET, its officers, staff, and partners from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Community or your violation of these Terms.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version and update the “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Community constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
